I was trying for a bit of a different colour combo here.. I don' think I have ever used Old Olive and Sage Shadow together on a card before. I like it. What do you think?? Come on, don't be shy... I want to know I still have readers!
I whipped two Christmas cards up this afternoon... I thought I had better make a start... and also take a break from High Hopes! At least until my new stamps get here.
I really couldn't get a good photo of this card today to bring the colours out so you will have to take my word that these colours are just so much nicer in real life! I cased this card from SCEmily from Splitcoast Stampers. Mine is a bit more simple but most of all I just really liked the layout and colours.
ROAR! How cute is the punch art lion!! I saw the idea by someone on SCS but I can't find them again now... the lion just popped up when I was looking at other cards so I can't remember which category it was under. Man it was fun and I am so happy with the outcome!
Here is a card using a new set from the Spring Mini Catalgoue (on sale 1 August). The set is called Tart & Tangy and it's so simple but so cute!
I just found a photo of this card that I made weeks ago... I think I need to try and remember to blog them straight away! I made this one quickly because we were going to a wedding and I completely forgot we needed a card. I am really happy with it... it was almost a shame I had to give it away. As always though the photo doesn't really do it justice. I sponged over the Tres Chic background with Stampin' Pastels so in real life it varied in shades from pink to purple. 
I have been meaning to post a photo of my card in this months Stamping & Papercraft magazine but I just keep forgetting... I remembered this morning so here it is!
I got the idea for the background of this one from SCS... I stamped it with VersaMark and then rubbed Stampin' Pastels all over it. You can't really see it in the photo but the colours vary from So Saffron to darker pinks. I also did the Rock 'n Roll technique on the butterfly.
More love notes! It's really because they are just so darn easy to make! You don't have to think so hard about what you are going to do with the rest of the card! Plus they are just a perfect size for Fast & Fun Notes! 
At the moment I am trying to use stamps that I haven't used in a while or at all and this is one of them. I got it in my Stampin' Up! starter kit and I have only ever used it a couple times. Until now I have never been able to watercolour it to my standards of what I think a ute should look like... this time I am happy! I am pretty pleased with it this time and as always, it looks much better in person!
I wanted to make a simple or basic card this time so I came up with this. This is using level 1 hostess set, A Little Bit of Happiness. I even used my Crop-a-dile to emboss little circles all over it and I am most impressed by them! To get the dots lined up I just held the paper piercing template from the Mat Pack onb the cardstock and used the medium holes as iff it was the eyelet. 
I made this card for Matt's Dad's 60th Birthday. I still struggle to make cards for males. Its a pretty cute boat though!
This card is simple yet... I really like it! What do you think? I stamped the horse and rider with VersaMark and then clear embossed it. I then sponged ink over it then followed up by stamping 'Sanded' background on it to give it a bit more of a distressed look. I found the idea of sponging the whole background somewhere... I just can't for the life of me remember where! I am pretty happy with it... I will probably make more!!
Here is a little apron card I made for my Mum for Mothers Day... yeah.... I realise it has taken me AGES to post a photo! I have also written up a tutorial on how to make one!
Here is a card I made last night because I thought my Wanted stamps were feeling left out. Man I love that set! I don't know which I love more between Bronc Buster and Wanted... I can sit and stare at them for AGES! That being said though, I have only made two cards!
This technique is called Faux Tile and there is a tutorial over on my website! In person you can see a lot more of the detail but photo quality aside, I really like this card... its plain but effective.

I made this card today using Priceless. I won this set at Convention in the Prize Patrol so I thought I had better make something with it seeing as it is a few weeks old now! I have used it a few times on small things but not an entire card like this one.
I LOOOVEE this set! I didn't think much of the old west stamps when I first saw them but then they grew on me fast like a scary vine in a silly horror movie! I just LOVE the Outlaw designer series paper too so that just made my need for these stamps even worse! The Priceless sentiment is from 'Priceless' which I won in the Prize Patrol at Convention! I was so chuffed seeing as I was going to order that stamp set this week anyway!!
